5-Star Rated Mini-Album, Condor Leader returns with stripped-back acoustic versions and a new title, Condor Dealer!
You may have already heard that Dazzle Rebel spent his New Year’s Eve recording an acoustic version of Condor Leader title track, Condor? He managed to accomplish it in one night and in less than 5 hours. Well, he found the exercise so liberating that he decided to carry on and record the rest of Condor Leader, one song per day.
The result is this raw, honest and stripped-back version of his sophomore collection of songs. Condor Dealer will be available for FREE download through Bandcamp, including bonus digital content at midnight on 25th March 2022. The mini-album will simultaneously launch on all major streaming services.
It was knocking on 7pm on New Year’s Eve, 2021 and I was bored. I had made the decision to not go out and celebrate but I was already getting tired of the overhype on the TV. So, I decided to spend my time productively and re-record the lead track from my mini-album, Condor Leader as an acoustic track. I didn’t think that it turned out too bad, so I decided to release it as a single and it’s out on all major platforms today!
As it’s my birthday week, I’ve also dropped the track onto my Bandcamp where you can download it for FREE!
Today is release day for the radio edit of ‘Swan Song’ from my latest mini-album, Condor Leader. This is in response to those of you who liked the track but couldn’t play it at home when your kids were about, or at work (or any other social situations where naughty lyrics would be frowned upon) due to the use of the “C” word! Well, you’ll now be able to add it to your family-friendly playlists by following the link below! https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/dazzlerebel/swan-song-radio-edit
I’ve also done this cheap-ass music video! Recorded in my living room in one night and edited within 24 hours. For something that cost me nothing to make and knocked up so quickly, I don’t think it’s a bad job. What do you think?
As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve got loads more music coming and I’m really excited to be sharing it with you. Let’s keep Rock’n’Roll alive!
A couple of months ago I was asked a few questions by Viki Ridley from HRH Magazine. I’d almost forgotten about it until I received a ping in my emails and remembered the interview. Shifting through the pages I stumbled on a large photo of myself staring back at me and a whole page piece all about yours truly! (It’s on page 31 in case you wanted to look).
If you’re not a subscriber to the printed version you can subscribe to the magazine for free for the digital version. You just need to fill in your email details on the site.

Hello you, it’s been a few weeks since we last spoke! Well, the reason for my lack of content is not because I’ve been slack. In fact, there’s a lot been going on behind the scenes. A hell of a lot indeed.
I have been busy beavering away (stop sniggering, it’s not that kind of beavering) creating new music and working on content for my YouTube channel. I’ll start drip-feeding all that content soon, so make sure that you’re following my social channels because things are going to go a little crazy during 2022!
Meanwhile, Condor Leader has done way better than I ever expected. Thank you so much for getting behind this release. However, even though I’ve got brand new music coming from April 2022 I’m not done milking the Condor Leader material just yet.
A lot of people seemed to really dig the track “Swan Song” but were not able to stream it in certain situations due to the rather vulgar language I use in it. Well, there is a radio-friendly version available on Bandcamp but that doesn’t help anyone wanting to add it into their own Spotify playlists.
I’ve heard you guys and I’m doing something about it. To that end, I’m releasing “Swan Song (Radio Edit)” on all major streaming platforms on 26th November 2021. You can pre-save/pre-order the track now by clicking the link or on the new single cover art below.
Twenty years ago, the world was a very different place for me. Watch this video as I give you my perspective of what happened on September 11th 2001 and how it changed the lives of people all over the world. Not always for the best.
Last week I mentioned that I had a little surprise coming this week. It is only a very little surprise and (an admittedly lazy one at that) but here it is! Two videos this week.
Now, they’re not exactly new but rather alternative versions. In particular, these are the explicit lyric versions of both Swan Song and Back Home and Sober (hence the slightly ‘lazy’ surprise).
Here are the videos. You’ll probably need to log in to YouTube and view them on the YouTube site, as they are age-restricted, due to the explicit language!
The EXPLICIT version of Back Home and Sober
I have another video dropping on YouTube on Sunday. This is a very personal video and I questioned myself a lot about making it. Basically, it’s a big confessional about where my life was 20 years ago and if you remember what happened 20 years ago this month, then you’ll have an idea about what I’ll be talking about in this video.
I won’t be making a big song and dance about it, so if you think that you’d like to watch then make sure you’re subscribed to my YouTube channel and you hit the bell to be notified. Remember, subscribing to a YouTube channel is totally free!
Things will quiet down a bit from me for a little while now, as heading into the winter, I’ll be concentrating on creating more music. I’ve almost finished the writing process for a new, full album that will be leaning more towards the heavier side of my music.
If you’d like to get behind-the-scenes access to what’s going on with this album, then you can join the Rebel Support Team for £5 a month on Buy Me A Coffee.
For now though, have a brilliant weekend and enjoy yourself!
It’s Friday and that means it’s time for some new music! Today see’s the launch of the final video from my latest release, Condor Leader. Unfortunately, that means that there’s not a lot of YouTube content left for the time-being. Although, there will be a surprise video next week!
Check out the video for Condor:
It’s another festival weekend, so to anyone going to the fantastic Stonedead Festival, please have an awesome weekend!
Anyone out in Nottingham this weekend? I might be propping up a bar or two, most probably Foremans Bar. So, if you want to buy a hard working musician a drink, you know where to find me!
What a week it’s been. There’s been some huge news stories this week and none of them are uplifting (whenever is the news uplifting)? It seems that the Four Horsemen are riding and the world is burning.
So, what do I plan to do about it? Well, this weekend I’m planning to get absolutely f*cked and bury my head in the sand over everything! I know this is a bad idea but you know what, it’s been a long time coming and I need to let off some steam.
So, come the following morning my New Music Friday release will seem very apt indeed. This week, I introduce to you my lyric video for Back Home and Sober. A track all about going out and getting wasted and waking up trying to remember what happened.
Check it out here:
So, what are you up to this weekend? Will you be joining me in getting totally f*cked up? Or are you being sensible and having a chilled one (nothing wrong with that at all by the way, in fact I envy you, I just really need a good night out).
Whatever you’re up to, please stay safe and have a f*cking fantastic weekend!
