Moto Bloggin’ | Motorcycle Live and News Round Up December 2017

Welcome to the first Moto Bloggin’ post, a monthly roundup of news and my personal thoughts and adventures from the world of motorcycling. There are two things to note before I continue, the first is if you’re reading this on dazzlerebel.net this will not only be the first but also the last Moto Bloggin’ post. This is because I will be using dazzlerebel.net to focus less on motorcycling and more on music but more of that in a future post. All future Moto Bloggin’ posts will be found on my new Moonshine Moto blog so if you want to stay fresh with the Moto Bloggin’ series pop along and subscribe for new post notifications.

The second thing to note, well more of a tidbit or even observation is that ‘blogs’ usually evolve into ‘vlogs’ (that’s video-logs for those not familiar with the term), not the other way around. I’ve been ‘vlogging’ for over two years now on my YouTube channel Dazzle Rebel Rides but as the winter creeps in and other projects take over, time to record and edit videos begins to dry up. To fill the gap I’ve decided to go back to the good old-fashioned blog, which is what you’re reading now. So let’s get on with it. Moto Bloggin’

Moto Bloggin’ on DazzleRebel.net

As Dazzle Rebel Rides takes a step back from regular Moto Vlogging I will be countering the loss of a weekly vlog with a new monthly Moto Blog here on DazzleRebel.net.

Compiling the highlights from any two-wheeled adventures I may have during the winter season, along with my choice cuts of news from the motorcycle world my aim is to keep your whistle wet and looking forward to spring. The yet to be titled monthly moto-blog (hang on, let’s just call it “Moto Bloggin'”) will be published on the first Monday of the month at 5pm gmt beginning Monday 4th December.

This doesn’t mean that there will be no videos on the Dazzle Rebel Rides YouTube channel during that period. In fact I am hoping to bring you the odd list video, news story and new model walk-arounds in the meantime. What is does mean is that during the cold and grim months of December through to February I will be spending less time editing videos and more time with a guitar in hand making music. More on that later!

So remember to hit that subscribe button and any change your notification settings accordingly to never miss a video or blog post. I’ll speak to you guys again soon but in the meantime please feel free to leave me a comment below. Laters ‘taters!

Indian Motorcycle Announce 2018 Line-up | MY2018

It’s that time of year already, Indian Motorcycle announced their 2018 line-up today and there’s some interesting changes to the range. For a quick overview watch the video below and then read the full details further down for more information and lovely glossy images.

Having seen the Indian Motorcycle brand grow exponentially since it’s relaunch in 2013 (2014 for us in the UK), the Polaris owned motorcycle company will be offering 15 models in their 2018 range. That’s pretty damn good going since starting with just three models, the Chief, Chief Vintage and Chieftain 5 years ago.

I’ve already talked about the new Scout Bobber but if you’ve not read that report click here or watch the video below. Continue reading “Indian Motorcycle Announce 2018 Line-up | MY2018”

Indian Scout launch new Bobber

The new Indian Scout Bobber

It was bound to happen sooner rather than later. Indian Motorcycle have released their own take on the Bobber concept based on what other bike than the Scout.

There’s nothing really surprising about the route they’ve taken with the concept; cut down the rear fender, remove the front fender and stick on the smallest one possible to satisfy the Eurocrats and safety lobby, black out the wheels, replace the traditional clocks with a blacked-out set, stick on a set of blacked-out tracker bars and replace the headlight for something reminiscent of the Chief Dark Horse. There’s also a new seat to accommodate the new fender.
